Design Philosophy: Afshan rugs are known for their intricate floral designs, often featuring delicate, scrolling vine motifs that cover the entire rug. The design symbolizes beauty, fertility, and the interconnectivity of nature.
Story: The name “Afshan” comes from the Persian word for “scattering,” which reflects the way the floral patterns are scattered across the rug’s surface. This design has roots in the ancient Persian gardens, where the gardens themselves were considered a metaphor for paradise. The design is meant to evoke the sense of walking through a lush, endless garden.
Interior Fit: Afshan rugs are ideal for traditional or romantic interiors. Their detailed, flowing patterns make them perfect for living rooms, dining rooms, or bedrooms where elegance and nature-inspired themes are appreciated. They pair well with rich upholstery, floral decor, and ornate furniture.
